The Supervisor Manual for the Field Guide to Family Advocacy, developed by Children’s Advocacy Centers of Mississippi and the West Virginia Child Advocacy Network and Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center, is a companion guide to the Field Guide to Family Advocacy and is geared toward professionals who supervise family advocates. The manual covers the basics of supervision, establishing a solid foundation for supervisory roles, and includes detailed sections on the principles of family advocacy, the roles and responsibilities of family advocates, and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to child maltreatment.
