The four Regional Children’s Advocacy Centers were established by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) in 1995 to provide training and technical assistance to child abuse professionals located within each region. Each Regional CAC provides trainings, technical assistance, financial assistance, and information services for developing and established multidisciplinary teams, local Children’s Advocacy Centers, and state Chapter organizations of Children’s Advocacy Centers within their region.
The four Regionals work collaboratively on multiple projects including the resources offered through this website.
