National Children's Advocacy Center (NCAC)
The NCAC, located in Huntsville, Alabama, revolutionized the United States’ response to child sexual abuse. Since its creation in 1985, the NCAC has served as a model for the 1000+ Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) now operating in the United States and in more than 27 countries throughout the world.
Child Abuse Library Online (CALiO™)
The Child Abuse Library Online (CALiO™) is a service of the National Children’s Advocacy Center developed as a resource collection for professionals working in fields associated with child abuse. Since its launch in 2004, CALiO™ has provided authoritative resources that contribute to evidence-based practice, informed decision making, and more effective services.
National Children's Alliance (NCA)
The National Children’s Alliance (NCA), the national accrediting organization for CACs, provides support, advocacy, quality assurance, and national leadership for CACs. NCA offers a variety of membership levels for CACs and Chapters.
Native Child Advocacy Resource Center (NCARC)
The Native Child Advocacy Resource Center is a division of the National Native Children’s Trauma Center (NNCTC), a specialty unit within the College of Education at the University of Montana. Our center has been collaborating with tribal communities and AI/AN populations since 2006, working across all child-serving systems (child welfare, juvenile justice, educational, mental health, and primary care, among others) to support the development of culturally focused, trauma-informed programming that benefits children, families, communities, and tribes.
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP)
OJJDP provides national leadership, coordination, and resources to prevent and respond to juvenile delinquency and victimization. OJJDP supports states and communities in their efforts to develop and implement effective and coordinated prevention and intervention programs and to improve the juvenile justice system so that it protects public safety, holds offenders accountable, and provides treatment and rehabilitative services tailored to the needs of juveniles and their families.
Zero Abuse Project (ZAP)
The Zero Abuse Project is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to transforming institutions in order to effectively prevent, recognize, and respond to child sexual abuse.
